Wow, back into the newbie section. I'm trying to swap out engine harnesses today, and I can not for the life of me squeeze my hand up inbetween the firewall and the heating components (ie - blower motor). Also, I can't even find all the bolts that hold the dang thing in! How the heck do I go about pulling the entire engine harness through the firewall?

Pull the heater box, that is the way that i always do it, you will have to pull the dash also if you remove the heater box.
Dangit. I was afraid of that. Any quick tips for pulling a dash? I am not looking forward to this =(
I've done this a bunch of times, and I never remove the dash. It's a pain in the ass, and is much easier with two people.
Remove the glove box and the bar that holds it then the blower motor housing and you should be able to get to it. Its a pita but doable without pulling the dash.
It's an absolute pain in the ass. Too bad you live in the colder climate(winter) or you could just remove the heater completely like I did. Let us know how it goes, Good luck
