I took my deck out of my dash the other day, and I found a shock sensor...I was like uhm what the hell? I have an alarm?! lol I was kind of screwing around with it with the door open, and I locked the doors, and then they unlocked on their own. It kept doing this, and then stopped all of a sudden. It doesn't do it anymore tho...and, when I turn the car off, it goes BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. So, I have an alarm system and keyless entry, but the seller said he does not have a remote, he didn't even know it was on there! Is there anything I can do without having to get a whole new system? Thanks.

If it is a factory system generally there is a "brain" with a button on it to program a new remote. Go to the dealer get a new remote and program it. If it's not factory then I don't know what to tell ya. Good Luck!

The shock sensor said AudioVox on it...would this most likely be the brand of alarm system also? Or just the sensor? And depending on that, how would I find out what brand alarm I have? The only thing I've seen on my car relating to an alarm is the shock sensor. Thanks for the help guys.
