Hey I've been in love with the Mitsubishi Eclipse gen 2 since 2001 and I've been trying to fiind a way to get one. Well i finally have a job and things are going smooth enough that in a few months I'll be ready to seriously persue getting one. There are a few questions I have though. I want the GSX but will settle for a GST of any mileage. What is a fair price for dealers and private sellers to ask for in the NYC area? If i get one with higher mileage what should I do to get the most out of my car. I was thinking of rebuilding the engine using performance parts in the process. Does this sound wise or am I speaking non-sense? I'm going to be adding a lot of body styling mods in the form of bodykit and fenders etc but I'd like to have a little extra umf under the hood for fun, but I don't want to turn it into a racing monster so I'm sticking with automatic. What are some of the routes I can take to reaching my performance goals? Thanks for all the help in advance.
