I spun a rod-bearing last summer on my 97 GSX.. and all this time, I haven't even touched my car yet cause I'm still debating on what to do...The more I think of it, the more I get confused...Let's put it this way, I wanna make it right the first time with spending the least amount of $$$...Should I do a EVOIII direct swap, a 1G swap, or just rebuild my 7-bolt 2G motor???
I'm trying to save as much $$$$ as possible without losing any of my current 7-bolt engine mods...Goal is to make my motor withstand at least 450-600hp...

All in all, I did a few searches and came down to swapping a 2.4 block from a N/A Spyder...I'm pretty sure, a few people have already done this...If you have done this swap, let me know how hard the job is? How it runs afterwards? and how much did you spend on everything....
Any help would be appreciated....Links on this swap would also be helpful.....
