Gentelman, as you know I recently totalled my 90 TSi but picked up a 92 GSt which is now my DD. She pulls hard but the problem that keeps me confused is this slight spudder clogged feeling she gets at certain times when accelerating softly. It gives the car a pretty retarded jerking motion back and forth It also sends the turbo into a spooling frenzy that doesn't seem to be matched speed for sound..I have changed plugs. Still looked decent I just changed them anyways. It pulls really hard sometimes which kinda shys me away from boost leak. Besides, I just changed UICP and TB elbow. LICP looks fine. Stock, but new looking. Routed MBC myself, new vaccum hoses. Except by the Intake Manifold. It looks alright. It has new plug wires, I changed the entire Intake there for new MAS... What else? I am thinking fuel.. Clogged filter? Clogged injectors at times. At WOT fuel is forced thorough or anything after 4200 kinda clears up. Maybe at lower RPMs fuel can't get through causing this spudder sensation. Please any advice/ suggestions. I need to get this issue resolved. Jolting makes my Girlfriend go [/quote]

Change the fuel filter and check your knock sensor peoples. A bad knock sensor can cause intermitent issues. Also if you have a datalogger use it, check the sensors make sure all is still functioning.

I appreciate that pertant information Quick Chic, I value your opinion. 200mph mark, damn. Plus you have a cool sig. I will see what I can do on that one. But how is the strong time explained with the car. Sometimes she pulls like a bat outta hell. sometimes she jerks until she clears up and then bones out.

Well the knock sensor if bad, will make the ecu pull time, and therfore make the car "buck". Other sensor to check would be the tps, and isc. More then likely its just a sensor malfunction, which is telling the ecu to do something dumb.

Everything ECU associated seems to be good. It has cleared up quite a bit, which leaves me thinking fuel... Now it idles fine, runs fine, then if I let it sit at idle for more than a minute, it will get a clogged sputter and revs drop to 500. Give a little gas around 2k and hold till it clears (5sec) and then it idles and runs fine again. So mostly if I keep it moving she doesn't sputter anymore. What does that point to. Fuel filter is a possibility, my wack ass didn't change it this weekend..my bad, anything else. Thanks for your time!

You only get 91 out there in cali dont you??? Tisk tisk.

I'd say change the fuel filter sounds like you ran the car more got some better gas in it and its starting to clear up...A new filter will probably work wonders.
