I cant decide which one to buy, somebody help me out.
JMF....cost $450 from extremepsi
magnus...cost $594 from extremepsi
Which one is the better quality and makes more power?
Jmf cost less but if the magnus is the better one than i'll buy that one.

Well from my search, the magnus is better, its the best one out there, but i know a couple friends of mine run the jmf and there happy. But if you do some research, alotta resources are sayin the magnus is capably of providing more hp than the jmf.

What resources say that? AFAIK there's no back to back dyno tests to prove which is better. I got a JMF because of all of the cracked Magnus's that I've seen lately.

My vote is JMF...but why not get it directly from JMF?

I'd LOVE to see your proof of this.

I prefer the Cyclone dual runner intakes with the butterflys shut at all times. Lottts of torque.
Wasn't funny at the shop and still isn't funny now. Get back to welding.

I'd LOVE to see your proof of this.
Same price. I like doing business with extremepsi, they have good costumer service and never let me down yet.

A local guy that is running the magnus said his cracked also and he's getting it reweld. Im looking towards the JMF manifold now because of the magnus cracking.

I'm would opt for the larger plenum magnus with the radiused velocity stacks.

I'll take the JMFab as well. I never seen back to back dyno pulls to prove which can make more power, but I know when it coems to quality JMF cant be beat.

You know you want it...

Depends on if you like takeing the manifold off to have it rewelded after every 25 psi pull. magnus is know for cracking, both the new and the old version

Everyone needs to lay off the Magnus cracking bandwagon... lol. There are a few things to consider, remember this is coming from a person that uses a Magnus at 35 psi and it has cracked and been rewelded. I believe if I would have bought a JMF at the same time (even though they were not avail. then) and put it through the same abuse and time it would have done the same.
Most of the Magnus manifolds you see that crack are older because they have been on the market alot longer. Mine is old, Marco told me mine is the 1st revision. It is well over 3 years old on a daily driven car. It has been on 3 cars, all of those cars ran over 30psi. It has seen lots of LOW 10 second passes. It cracked, big fucking deal... I pulled it off in 30 minutes and had the whole damn thing rewelded. I doubt you hear about newer Magnu mani cracking, am I saying they wont? No. They will maybe, later. So will a JMF, later. After they are a few years old. Think of all the heat cycles, hot, cold, hot cold. Then if they get any water splashed on them that part cools down really fast, expand, contract, expand, contract. Get the point? The stock manifold also has two braces our SMIM's do not incorporate. When we are talking about two very high quality SMIM's like a Magnus and a JMF I dont thing cracking should be considered.
That being said:
I think they are both great manifolds and great quality. I think the JMF plenum is a little bigger... depends on your setup on what one will work best for your application. Either one combined with some good cams is going to give you alot more airflow up top and that comes together to make you smile bigger:banana:

I know that we're comparing JMF vs. Magnus but what about the AMS Intake Manifold?? How does this stack up against the two and is there more performance for the heftier price??

It shows "Expect from 10-40whp on street to full race setups" which is pretty much the same for all of the comparable manifolds.

Thats my manifold. I just got it. Have not installed yet so I cannot offer experience or opinion. The only reason I went JMF is because price difference honestly. Considerable price difference. ;)

I dont think the AMS VSR manifold compare in any way to the JMF or the Magnus.
