Probably the closest you are going to find to an inch is the eibach prokit springs which will drop you 1.3 inches. Not too much at all, but I still think that you would want to replace the shocks/struts, for the optimum ride.

 

Whatever suspension you get, it's going to lower the car somewhat. It's not in the cards to upgrade suspension and keep stock height.

Great suggestion. Plus the fact that the 1g were IMO lifted way too far into the air, the pro-kit makes it look the way it should have from the factory IMO.

 

I would recommend the Pro-kits. As soon as I have the cash I'll be ordering a set.

 

Get some Ground Control's and AGX's. You can keep the stock ride height then, but you'll spend a bit of $$ on them.

Look in to H&R oem sport springs. They only lower your car an inch.

the 1g prokits are only sposed to lower 1 inch all around....at least thats what i thought..

I went to the "H and R" web site they do have the springs but they dont specify how much they drop or have prices so ill have to call em up....thanks though.

 

i don't see why you would want to keep stock height...lowering the car lowers the center of gravity, thus helping handling a great deal, as well as top speed.

1G prokit lowers 1.3" all around for the record.

the #'s are in a little chart, the first # is the front drop, then read drop, then part no. i think it was.

 

I was just trying to keep near stock height so i could put some bigger rims(17 or 18's) without having to put to low of profile tires. But thanks for all the info guys.

 

When using bigger diameter rims you must use a tire with a lower profile so that the rolling diameter stays the same. If you dont, it actually affects gearing and also will make your speedometer inaccurate.
