I have wanted to do something differently for a while. So here is the beggining.

A quick snap of the new max.

And some of the parts that will be transferring over from my talon.

I already have a exhaust manifold being modified for it and my aem ems should be back to me very soon. I have to pay off some bills before I can really start tearing into it though. But until then this car seems to be a great daily for me.

I would love to finish it. But I am still waiting on parts. I have been waiting on connecting rods from magnus for about 2 months now, and tires won't be here for another 2 weeks. I guess i have a couple new updates on new parts.

Some new greg weld wheels. The fronts are 15x3.5 and rears are 15x8

Found this crazzy intake manifold that faces the wrong way

I was a little worried about how I could get the truck to hook up on factory leaf springs... Well here is the solution.

Also I did a little work on some bezels for a couple gauges. The gauges should be in this week, so I can finish them up and throw the dash back in to wire them up.

I probably won't really do a whole lot until after shoot out. I have a lot of work to get done on the trailer so we can take 4_fingered_GST's mirage to shoot out. But at least by the time I get back my tires should be here so I can put the rear of the truck together to see how far I need to cut down the rear end.

I have actually been planning on selling my AWD Talon to fund my Mighty Max project.

Its got some 28x10.5s on it now. I need to get the rear end cut down 2.5 inches, and then should be able to tuck the tire just by rolling the fenders.

Looking good. What adapter are you going to be running? I just ordered a kkc a few weeks ago and Ken said there was a guy in KS that had recently ordered one for another street/strip truck. How much did that set of caltracs w/cueton leaf mounts run you?
