I currently have a dual stage boost controller on my big16g, and when I have it set to 10 psi everything is fine...Once I hit the switch to go to 15 psi I get bad misfires only under high boost...

I don't think it is fuel cut, because I ran 17 psi last summer no problem...

I also bought new plugs and wires last summer, and recently checked my plugs and they look fine...

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks much,

Chris C

What are your plugs gapped at? That may be your problem, BUT.. I just recently ran into the same problem. I thought that maybe the gap got messed up for some reason, so I checked and made sure they're perfect at .028. It still does it. I'm guessing it's the wires. I'm buying some NGK's (currently running 2 year old Megnecor's).

Misfire

I also had the same problem-- new plugs fixed it. I also put in some 8mm wires.

spark plugs...

They looked good, but they were definately the problem...Now that I have the boost back up I remember why I love my car! Still have a little problem called torque steer to deal with though...

Thanks guys,

Chris C

P.S. - I never mind fixing the little $10 problems...It's the big ones that'll kill ya...
