This is the first time I have been able to do any tuning at the track as
my car usually messes up for dumb reasons. 12.9@110 on 16 psi with
a Force Perf. big 16g. Had a passenger, full wieght, and a big stereo.
I am impressed. I hope I can get better time when I turn up the boost.

The track sucked, and I kept spinning through 1/2 of first. My laptop
battery died, so I couldn't do anything else. I'll go back this weekend.

Do you think it will make much of a difference without the passenger and stereo? stereo weighs a good 100 pounds.

Every 100 lbs is a tenth( .1)

So if your girlfriend weighs 400 , and you remove all other bs, for 100.

You could lose a half second right there. .5

So 12.4>12.9.

Yes AWD. I got a bad start on that one too. My reaction time is usually .2 and 60' usually 1.6. I kept redlighting before that and got gun shy. There were a lot of marbles on the track too. The FWD DSMs were having real traction problems.


I hope to do better this weekend.

Launching higher?!?! I was spinning 1/2 of first. But that was the track. Was shifting at 7000RPM

Oh wow.. lol.. I guess it's a lil dif per track and tires.. what suspension/ tires you running?
I got 235 sticky fuckers so I launch around 5800 and don't spin excessively bad.
I'm not sure with the big 16, but the evos seem to drop off around 6500. I'm going out for test and tune and see if shifting at dif points make a difference.

Damn, thats a pretty high mph. You should be able to cut at least .5 off that with less weight and a better 60ft for sure. @16psi that seems pretty damn good!

Good times, My friend just ran his evo3 at 14psi and his best time was 13.2. So for 16psi thats pretty good at full weight.

I am on stock (blown) suspension. and radial tires on 93 swirlies.
It was a new charger that I was racing.

Funny thing is there was a newer vette there running consistent 14's....he got beat by an N/A civic. Poor guy.

his mph is good for 12.4's... he's not driving to the fullest most likely. more seat time will help. get that 60 footer down more.

I'm doin something wrong. 21psi on a evo 3 only gets me a 13.49 with a 1.88 60' (bald tires, lots of spinning).

Mam I'm so pissed I never hit the track. I was running 26 psi on a good tune with the eIII. I wonder what kind of pass I would have gotten.
