whats up bros' my names gavin & this is my slammed 96' eclipse straight out of San Antonio Texas!

the engine is a bonestock 420a with 40,000 original miles, i wish i could say im into boost and all that jazz but I could care less, shes been problem free for the last 3years and I wanna keep it that way.

Im running some pretty wide wheels.. the typical dsm enthusiast likes to think you can't fit anything wider than 9" which is bullshit because ive been able to fit a set of 10.5" fronts & 11" in the rears, with some heavy fender pulling & cutting of course. These bad boys are nearly 10" all the way around.. i have 215/35 tires upfront & 225/40 in the back. A few of these pics are from last month, ive actually gone a bit lower since.

i have full hks exaust piping with a bosozoku style tip in the back,
other than a few exterior mods that's about it...
i just did my custom headliner & arches and im swapping my stock seats for GLI recaros,

all in all im happy where it's at, im trying to land wekfest texas in austin this year so hopefully all goes well,
I run a san antonio based photography page called Texas Low Life, we're currently in the process of taking things to the next level and launching a website, so be on the look out

hope you guys enjoyed seeing something different, im about to spice things up and hopefully get my hands on some beat up concave rotiforms, so keep your eyes peeled for more pics

If I could have ended up with a gst or gsx I wouldn't have complained,
she's just a daily.

I ended up picking this up for practically nothing..
at only 40,000 original miles you can't beat that,
the 420a really is a great engine when maintained properly.

no offense but the people who complain about it are usually the people who can't handle it or pull it off... I was like that once. When done right it's 100% functional. money is better spent making a car look good than wasting it all on performance. let's be realistic, at the end of the day no matter how fast it goes or how amazing it handles, there will always be speed limits... there will always be cops... and there will always be tickets. Unless you spend all your time at the track, spending all your hard earned money on performance is silly.

I was hoping to get some kind of credit for this,
but it's always the same sob story.

most dsm enthusiasts are all close minded people that come up with any reason to bash anything that stands out from the crowd.

Ive taken the time & money to make sure everything i've done was done right.

there 527's, 18x10. i really wouldnt recommend anything bigger than 9" unless your willing to roll, cut, and use bondo :l
