i installed new 3g lifters today. i have a problem with knock and im trying to eliminate the possibilities.
the car will show 43 counts of knock when reving with no load on the car. with a load on the car it does the same thing. BUT......i hear no detnation or knocking.
here is what i have chaged:
new lifters (3G)
new knock sensor
new 0-2 sensor
new plugs and wires.
the only time i heard ping was when i was installing my MBC and it was set too high. most dsms i have heard have a somewhat noisy valvetrain.
