A little background information. I just built a 6 bolt engine for my 95 gst. I have fuel, compression and i have checked and double checked my timing. I went to start it and no spark. I noticed my cel engine light was not coming on. So im starting my trouble shooting. My coil and transistor are good i checked them with my meter. I am not getting power to the mpi diag. port, or my backup power source on my ecu. I opened up the ecu and everything looked fine no smells or leaking of any kind. I have not been able to get ahold of a working on so i havent ruled that out.
I have checked and changed all my fuses three times that have anything to do with starting and it seems like i have read everything i could possibly find on this subject. I need to check the mpi relay itself but am not to sure how to. I have checked all my wiring and have checked all my grounds. Im not sure what else i could else except the trying a new ecu. Im just running out of ideas here. :dunno:
Also all my other lights turn on, headlights, etc. Basically everything thats suppose to work when the key is in the on position.
