Long island here. From merrick. Sometimes you can catch me on hempsted turnpike, rarely dpa and in the summer bellmore on fridays. I also hangout in freeport alot at night at the docks or industrial.

how are these industrials and where are they. i usually chill at dpa and when I'm feelin good I head out to hunt's point

 

I'm not into the autox thing. Don't have the patience or skill to keep shifting and whatnot. The docks (as we merrick kids call it) but is a industrial area. Its just some buildings and some roads. Theres one road that you can use to race (little less then 1/8th mile) but its so bad anyways, you only use it to joke around. Its nothing special. We migrate to our hangout areas and thats it. Local 7-11, docks then white castle and maybe on a weekend dpa. I've never gone to any of the places in the "city". Not until my car is fully done that is.

edit - Its right next to meadowbrook parkway. If a race is going down then thats where will head out to. Usually though well be at white castle and setup races there and goto another spot. Those races are money only (except if you know the person personally) and go on late late night usually.

good races for 15 sec hondas. You want to see action try bellmore in the summer on fridays. Oceanside in the summer on wed and wgite castle any time of year if you think you or someone else has a fast ride for some friends of mine and day of the week.

Check out www.nystreetracing.org its pretty good. were pretty harsh on newbies and everyone hates each other but we still hangout and talk cars.

A friend of mine lives in New Hyde Park. I'm usaully there if not at least once a week. Look for a white 1g de-badged with black tint all around, with plates that read "BOOSTN91".

i live in rockville centre, ny. i own a totalled 90gst and a 97gsx (not totalled). my friend has a 90gst as well, we would like to come chill with you guys or whatever. my screename/aim is jrmorris420. give me an im and we can chill, i drive a red 97 GSX and he drives a red 90 GST. we race a lot down on ocean parkway. actually we just got done at a supra meet at tobay beach. there were mad supra's, porsche's, ferrari's, rx-7's, tons of nice cars. i say we should all race down at ocean parkway near tobay. there are no cops, long straight aways and tons of nice cars. people race down there on wed and fri at like 10 - 12 pm... just food for thought, later

LOL, I tune on the Ocean Parkway. Thats the best place to go.
Its funny, cause you'll see me slow down to 20MPH and just gun it to over 100MPh then slow down again. Then I get some wierd looks from people. Its fun though.

Anyway, yeah, I'm registered at nystreetracing.org but rarely ever post there. I used to post a lot on Sal Collaziano's DPA forums before they went down. If you saw me in the SHO a couple of years ago, then it must have been right after I started going to deer park since I've only been going there for almost exactly two years now. There is one other guy who cruises up there regularly with a red SHO, but it's a second-generation model (mine's first gen) and is a different shade of red. He tries to roll on everyone while I usually mind my business

My SHO has been off the road since August, I am trying to sell it and can't afford to insure two cars right now (insuring one costs me over $2500 as it is). Next time you are up at DPA, keep an eye out for my dented-up 240, I am usually up there several nights a week (especially in the summer)

The SHO i remember (since you mentioned the other was a DIFF shade of red) was a dark red.

Anyway I will look out for you when i go up there.

 

I was just on ocean parkway tonight helping a friend break in his new motor. No we weren't top ending the car just cruising letting the engine break in. Sometimes stop go through the gears and whatnot. I'll be tuning my car on ocean parkway since its about um 10-15 minutes (pending speed) away from me. Live the third to last exit off meadowbrook parkway. There arn't alot of cops there but when there are watch out because there state troopers. KNow a few people who have gotten pulled over including myself. A meet would be kool. my car is very slow compared to what it should be running (honest, no one believes me). So if we do meet up and you guys take off for some odd reason don't laugh at me for not being able to catch up .

my gsx is bone stock atm, so i will get a worse spanking than you dont worry. there are also lots off ocean pkwy... there is a lot of space and we can mess around with say a 1/4 mile in them if people are scared, but i have raced a few times down there and never had any trouble.
