I am a little cocfused about O2 sensors and porting and wideband and whatever other things there are.

I would appreciate it if someone clarified it for me.
also my rear O2 sensor is dead. does it matter what kind i replace it with. I was thinking just the bosch form autozone.
one more thing, i will be getting a thermal r&d cat back soon. will it have a hole for my O2 sensor?

thanks a lot in advance

if my exhaust doesnt have a bung wont it be bad for my car?
one more question, if i have a test pipe will it mess up my O2 sensor reading. i am worried about gas mileage and performance.

Awesome

omg thank you so much!! that helped out a lot. seriously, i understand so much better now. i think i was getting confused with the 1g & 2g stuff too there.

two more very tiny tint lil questions that i think i know the answer to so just let me know if i am right.

1) I can either get a new dp and a better O2 housing, OR i can get an O2 eliminator which is the downpipe and and housing all in one???
that sounds like a nice deal so i am gonna look into those.

last one 2) only 2G have the O2 sensor on the cat-back, but there is no kind of porting or anthing you can do to it besides upgrading exhaust.

I think i got them right but just let me know!!!:)

thank you once again very very much that was great
