Hi guys, where would the O2 sensor be located in a 2g 95 Eagle Talon TSi FWD AUTO...the one before the cat...
hmm ok man thanks I think i found it, i know where the one after the cat is i just couldnt find the one before it hehe thanks though i got it now97EclipseGSTer said:He said the one RIGHT before the cat... so its going to be on the downpipe.... if i'm not mistaken. The o2 sensor on the housing is the first one... BANK A, and the ones on the downpipe... JUST BEFORE the cat is BANK B... just make sure that if you take it off and replace it, you'll notice a braided wire... that is the ground for the sensor. Some people run into a problem where they get wrong o2 sensor voltage numbers when datalogging because of the grounding strap
EDIT: Actually, I could be mistaken... I don't have a cat and my o2 bung is on the mid section of my Apexi catback... so scratch what I said... its the first one on the o2 housing... but consider what I said about the grounding strap for the future
You see that wire that is clipped onto the heat shield next to the rocker cover? Follow that wire down from below the water inlet on the block down to the right side of the heat shield next the alternator.daonlyillwiz said:hey guys is it the cylindrical looking thing right to the right of the heat shield to the right of the turbo ? or what ?
The second 02 sensor is AFTER the cat.97EclipseGSTer said:He said the one RIGHT before the cat... so its going to be on the downpipe.... if i'm not mistaken.
Yes it is...again it's the only thing with a wire going to the turbo. It's not that hard to find.daonlyillwiz said:hey guys is it the cylindrical looking thing right to the right of the heat shield to the right of the turbo ? or what ?
