I recently decided to paint my valve cover with red wrinkle finish paint. This is how it turned out, so tell me what you think.

I see a couple flaws, first off your engine is on the wrong side, and what about them cam gears? There backwards. Oh and you forgot to put your turbo on. Lol, im hilarious but looks good.

Looks good man. I been thinking about doing the same to mine but in black.

The main thing with painting something like this is to clean it very well. I had a problem the first time I ever tried spraying a valve cover. The oil on the cover likes to create the fish eye effect. The other precaution I took was to spray the cover with primer first.

Paint them with high temp paint :), i don't know how paint sticks to rubber though. I would give it a shot though.
Just buy red hoses. Painted hoses is ghetto. Just liked spray painted interior pieces.

Very nice job on the valve cover. So you said you used primer, how many coats of that and how many coats of paint? Did you use regular paint or did you use Hi-temp paint? Have you driven it much yet since you painted it? Is is still looking just as good as when you first put it on?
