I have a 91 Talon AWD and my problem is that when I start the car it runs really rough, and it runs very rich. Also when I start moving it smokes a whole lot and then when I do get it going it will not go above 4000 RPM's it acts like it has rev limiter, No matter if the car is cold or hot, It is just when I start the car. I do not know where to start. If you can think of anything I can try to fix it let me know Thanks.

My car is stock minus a KnN filter and a supra side mount, Nothing else.

A little more info would be helpful....What kind of maintenance have you done on it? What color is the smoke?

If it's running rough, I would check the obvious things like Spark Plugs/wires first. Could be a fuel problem, too. Sometimes a car will stumble and run super rough due to a clogged fuel filter or injector.
I would check those three things, especially if you're getting black/grey smoke (black smoke = fuel).

Post back with some more specifics if you want more in-depth help. My $$ would be on a problem somewhere in the fuel system, though.

Hope that helps steer you in the right direction.

The car has new NGK iridium plugs, and Magnacor 8mm wires. I do not know about the fuel filter. I will change that this week. The smoke is black my friend told me. Do you think if I put some Sea Foam in my gas it may clean out a clogged injector?

You could try the Sea Foam...if it's really smoking a LOT, I doubt cleaning the injectors will help completely. I would be willing to bet that your fuel filter will need to be replaced. You may also want to check the injectors themselves to make sure they are firing. You can actually put a stethoscope on the injectors and listen to see if you hear them clicking (firing) with the car running. A bad injector could cause all of that.
Also, bad gas can cause all of the symptoms you're describing.
if all else fails, you may need to actually drain the fuel out of your tank and replace with fresh. happened to someone I know, actually -- all it took was some fresh gas and a good Spark Plug cleaning.
