I have a loud Poping/Creaking coming from my front suspension, wihch comes and goes. I thought it was the lower lateral control arm ball joints.I know their is a recal for this exact part. So I took her the the local dealer(SATAN)and they told me that my CR ball joints were fine. What else could it be?? Are they lying to me or what?

That has happened to me too. I get this poping/creeking noise when i have steering turned left and accelerate (regardless of forward or reverse). No recall for my ball joint.... Someone want to shine some light on this problem?

i have the same thing.. big time after i did my clutch install.. three days ago i took the wheels off and tightened the shiz nit out of the whole front end with an impact wrench... seems to have eliminated it. you just gotta have everything tight as nuts.

Grilf: I am guessing what you are talking about is body flexing.

One of the easiest ways to eliminate body flex is to install strut tower bars.
Front would be the best if you only do one, but I would recommend both... it will also help handling :)

speaking of which.. i got a steal on some front strut tower bars.. if you want one let me know.. they are new ( i have a few, couldnt pass up the price) and will sell one to you significantly less than what you'd pay elsewhere.. as long as i break even or better ill sell it.. jhallred@gateway.net if ur interested
