Haha, everytime i think about that, i frown lol. I never added everything up and i think i am better off that way. If you want to do it, go ahead just don't tell me lol.
Just a hint, everything is brand new and i did all the work except for, the cylinder head porting and the line hone.

Please tell me you didn't spend all that money on good parts and then use topline pumps? I see a topline gasket kit but I hope you didn't use their oil pump.
Unfortunately I did. I have heard ups and downs about them and I purchased it before i knew better. Hopefully it doesn't give out, i will have an oil pressure gauge hooked up so if anything goes wrong i will shut down immediately.

I just wish I had money to buy another DSM. I hate having to drive my parents car.

To the OP, that is a very nice engine. It just needs a shiny valve cover to finish it off.

I am getting -10AN lines welded on mine.
Hmm...I guess I might just do the same then, -10 should be plenty. Thanks

Nice pics. What camera is that your using? Lol at the bedroom build also.
Its a Kodak P712, its nothing to extravagant but I still haven't been able to use it to its full ability lol, I just like to point and shoot.

I second this! If the motor is not in the car it will be much easier to replace, so do yourself a favor and get a new OEM. I used one of the Toplines on my new 2.3l build and it crapped out during a pull, leaked like crazy. The gears just tear themselves up. You don't want metal shavings all through your fresh motor. Sometimes the pump will seize altogether causing the motor to jump timing. Bye bye built head! If you still decide to give it a shot best of luck to you, but you've been warned.
