I have heard that if your battery gets below a certain point, it will not fully charge itself back up. I say take it to Advance Auto when you can and have them drain the charge and then recharge it. Good luck.

 

It's the battery or the alternator. Take the alternator out and have it tested.
Some times when the battery goes bad the alternator goes with it.

 

My money is on the Alternator, dim e-brake light is a give away....should have a dim alt light also

 

After I left my car alarm on and battery plugged in for a few months without starting it, the battery and alternator took a dump on me. Replacing either is fairly cheap and easy fix.

If the car is running while those lights are on and you are only getting 12.9 volts across the battery I concur with the alternator diagnosis.

 

Car charges fine... I never let it fully recharge after it died, so once it charged for like 20 mins, it was fine.

Alternator should be between 13.4-14.4 volts. Not below that. Your alternator is on its way out.

Problem went away, then came back...
Car died this morning on the way to class 6:40 am at a gas station, bummer )

This all happined because I had a massive oil leak (like, lost all oil in 20 secs) at the oil cooler unit, which shot oil all over the stupid alternator.

Anyhow, im going to pick one up tomorrow.
