So I am having some basic issues with a car I just got. I have been looking but I dont seem to see the issues. maybe I am not looking in the right places.

1st issue - oxygen sensor code

just want someone to tell me if the NA o2 sensor is the same as the turbo model. I know slightly different locations but from what I can see they are the same. (friend happened to have a brand new one for the NA and mine is turbo.

2nd issue - speedo is 10% high.

it says I am going 110km/hr and I am doing 99km/hr. I think someone put the AWD speedo cable into my FWD unit. Can someone tell me how many teeth they have on their gear so I Can see whats supposed to be there.

3rd issue - heat under hood

is there any way to vent these cars better. its not overheating at all but damn, I could cook supper on their every night. I had a cool thought about how to move the radiator to the back of the car with electric pump assist. Just wondering if there is any way to get more air flow to the radiator and engine before doing said job.

Thank you for your assistance in this work

Forgetting the oxygen sensor issue... can anyone help me with the speedo issue...

I am running 10% over (100km hr is 90km hr actual speed) I think it might be a speedo gear that goes into the transmission but I would like to confirm with someone how to pull out this unit before I go wrecking mine.

Any other idea's as to what might be wrong? is there a way to go electronic instead of a cable?

I am sorry for the delay in the response to these answers and questions. I have been working my butt off lately lol.. I will keep up from now on.

I am running stock tire size in a 17inch eclipse wheel (answering both posts at once) these tires are 100% to the inch for size. I have also checked the gear in the transmission and I have the right gear in there.. I got told the AWD was lower geared by a friend and for some reason believed him.

All I left is a speed sensor in the speedo itself. I just wonder how many others have had issues like this.

Stock size is 205 55r16. I have a set of 17 inch eclipse wheels off of a 2004 eclipse that are running 225 45r17 meats on them. I had the dodge dealership run the tire size off of the vin number to make sure its bang on.

I just found a complete cluster that I can get for 20 bucks. I am gonna try it. I have a speedo as well but haven`t wanted to pull my cluster apart due to the needle comment. I know the needle is sitting right at 0 right now but you never know when a cluster might have issues.

I might grab that transmission speed gear just incase. never know what it might be.

the only other issue that I might have is actually a funny case of wiring. Someone hardwired my headlights and cluster lights to turn on when the ignition is on. I assume because of this, I have no other dash lights (heater, etc) When I checked under the dash itself I ended up fixing a really badly installed security system and removed it and taped up what I could. I would have shrink wrapped and soddered any connections but I didnt find all the issues with the dash lights yet.

Any thoughts of where they might have hardwired the lights
