I generally agree with the enforcement of rule #7, and I think it is a logical rule.

However, I have seen plenty of instances when a moderator (one or two in particular) comes into a thread not to contribute anything on the subject, but instead only to "enforce" rule #7, sound like a hardass, and be very condescending to an established member of these forums. And here's the real kicker, he himself breaks rule #7 consistently and even sometimes in that very post in which he is lambasting someone for it.

If you're going to enforce the rule, have some respect for the other members and obey it yourself. Nobody likes a hypocrite. I think that's what gets some people riled up over this rule. And in case you're wondering, this has not happened to me personally, it's just something I've quietly noticed and this seemed like the appropriate thread in which to mention it.

Seriously, is it that hard to to take the extra 5 seconds to make sure everything is spelled correctly and capitalized? It's just a courtesy. The mods are here to MODERATE, they wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't. It's not that hard to have a little respect considering all the money we save you non-spellers from going to the mechanics and having them figure out your BOV isn't recirculated or you need an oil change.

if some one is that god dam dumb that he doesnt even know the effects of running his dsm wioth an uncurculated BOV than their is something wrong with him.... and when have you ever had to tell some one to get an oil change lol
