Ok, I still have my stock shocks and springs and it has never been taken out. I am replacing them with KYB BR2 shocks and the coilovers I have or I will probably buy some springs. I read it was common to strip the stupid locking nut on the endlink. I tried and it did get stripped. How or what are your strategies to removing it? Vise grip didn't do me any good. Do you cut the bolt off and replace the endlink with a new one? Where can you buy a new endlink? Thanks.

Cut the bolt or grind it off, whatever works for you and buy a new endlink.

I ended up cutting both the front and rear endlinks off my 91. the fronts you can buy at most auto parts stores, the rears you can buy if they look up around a 95 hyundai. The fronts on those cars are the rears on our cars.
