I just bought it for my car. It is inexpensive compared to other brands and it is a Mitsubishi piece so it threads right on. I personally prefer a stock look and this is a high quality piece.

 

Go to a junkyard and pay $5 for the same thing.

 

If you can find one in good shape then go for it. My experience is most of them out there are worn.

 

Why you getting rid of the horsecock shifter? J/K, yeah, get the OEM 2g leather one, nice.

You could go to a junk yard and find a NT rubber shift knob from a 1G. It's a lot shorter than stock and won't wear out like leather. I like how it fits the palm of my hand. Got mine for a $1.

 

Get a honda one they work great in these cars

yeah i have the "chopped and welded" shifter coupled with a civic knob. nice combo. i believe all hondas will fit. to be specific, mine came out of a 92-95 hatch.

ugh! can someone help? are they're any AUTO shift nobs? the shift knobs in the 1g autos are just as ugly as the manuals...anyone?!?!?
