Isc is all the way tight and the car idles at 1100 still...just put in new throttle body gaskets ect...checked vfaq.com nothing that is specific to my problem... Please help!! Thanks

well tell us about your problem. Does it surge or just idle high?

Check the egr valve.. if its leaking that might couse the high idle. more than likly its the ISC motor. And replace o-ring on the Biss screw.

Throttle Body is new so it cannot be egr...It has something to do with resetting the idle, when the screw is tight yet the rpms are up. No surge just high idle.

Quick question to go along with this. I am having a somewhat lumpy idle at around 700-800rpm. I was thinking of upping my idle to around 1k or 1100k. Is this a bad idea?

first off the TB has nothing to do the the EGR valve. The EGR is below the TB and looks like a flatter BOV. It could be leaking. But more than likly its not the EGR but a the ISC motor.

i really dont think it would be a bad idea, but its just idling higher. You can run your car all day at 5k or whatever its just a preference and most the time its below 1k like 750-800. Uping it wont "hurt" anything. Maybe waste a little more gas thats about it. but im no expert
