I dono, STi's really are powerful little shits...And even tho you can build a dsm to 'out-drag' an Sti, I haven't seen nearly as many DSM's that can be built to 'out-track' and 'out-corner' a suby...Those things are just badass in that respect...

My friends modded STi pulls 13.2's all day on only 12psi and a minor launch...Plus they look badass and the sound, I mean cmon, can't get much better than the boxer turbo spool sound combined with a full exhaust

i was taking my lucnh break one day, in which i had to run home really quick, i was on E, as im almost home my bov must of caught this riced out, blue and silver wrx's attention because he would not fawking leave me alone. he kept on doing ricer flyby's next to me. then he wouldnt let me get over into the other lane so i could go home, so i ended up missing my turn, almost running out of gas, i had to put some of my race gast in it when i got him so i could make it to the gas station. and hten i ended up being late gettin back to work. if it where different circumstances though i would of murdered him

I raced a suby yesterday..I didn't have the camera though..cool guy..he had a BOV, I was on the side of the road(94) screwing with the pocketlogger and this guy flies by and gives me the salute..I immediately started to chase him and caught him..cool guy..gave him a thumbs up and asked him if he wanted to run..he downshifted and so did I.. It was a good race...for me....haha..put 3 cars on him..but he was a cool guy..

I've watched STi's run.
And I haven't been all that impressed.
You're talking cars that come a few tenths away from 12 second land.
These were modded heavily.
And running 12.99's
12.70's.

I don't mean intake exhaust.
I mean modded.

I've seen rag tag stock looking 1g's pound out effortless 11's.
Not as many 2'gs tho.

And all the wrex's and impreza's...
Yawn...
I never see any fast ones.
Ever.

Maybe just not around here.

Then to make matters worse, my buddy ate ones lunch so bad in his ...

I find the majority of people wanting to mess around on the highway happens somewhere between 53 and 290....There's always an Evo, civic, or some modded car following my ass, waiting for me to downshift on the way to woodfield or Stratts or something...Not like I mind

BTW, damn is logging/tuning dangerous on the roads...On a main road, if I feel the time is right, I will downshift to 3rd and give the guy in front of me like a 1/8 mile distance, then I will do a 3rd gear WOT pull with my eyes on the tach, boost, and logger....Damn is that dangerous! I did it the other day and this guy pulls in front of me at the top of 3rd gear (90+mph) so I swerve to the other lane and pass the guy who cut me off and them BOOM...Guy in front of me breaks.....That is not fun at all! Guy next to me starts yelling at me after I cut him off to avoid a dangerously fast rear end...I deserved to be yelled at tho...It's really hard to find a safe spot to do logs

(worst of all, the palm wasnt far enough into the cradle so it didn't log any of it)

i totally agree. the people that have fast cars dont get in accidents. its the people in slow cars trying to be fast. These slow cars wernt meant for high speed manouvers so they mess up when they try.
