Unless you like going slower and are done with the "turbo thing", then I guess it's good. I can already tell that your buddy has boost on the mind. He has an opportunity to get rid of the anemic 2G with Neon motor. I personally would never get rid of a turbo DSM for a non turbo 2G. If it ain't a 4G63, then it ain't me.

but i like a/c and power steering.... and i know this is gonna sound corny but i really want to stop racing cause everytime i do it its not always legal. and i was thinking... well with a 420a it shouldnt be that tempting...
Bye Bye :usa:

Sounds like the perfect trade for you! Go for it, if I were you I would call him now! I'm sure he would be more than willing to find a 24 hour notary at 3am to get your 91 eagle talon TSI AWD for a 2g 420a.

With the price of gas, its best to get out of the game while you can.

What is your car is worth for you to replace, $2,300, more, less? Whats the Kelly Blue Book value on his car? Probably worth more than yours.

Basicly your choice is between a Dsm or a Neon.

I wouldn't trade a 1g awd for a 2g nt... Ever.... At least not straight up... Sell your car or part it out then get a 2g nt for cheap and have some extra cash in your pocket.

Me personally i wouldnt do it either but it sounds like what he wants. And i i wouldnt go thru the trouble of parting it out and selling it.If you still have stock parts tell him even trade for stock or give you a certain amount for the parts that are on it.

I wouldnt do it unless you can get some cash on your side, and return find another 1g for your boostin needs and keep the 2gnt as your DD, gas saver. I know what you mean by stop racing, i sold my old mustang to stop "racing" and got something with good gas mileage/looked good and got a 99 gs, as much as i loved the car, wasnt long till i bought a turbo awd 2g.

I hope he didnt. Personally i wouldnt mind having a 1g. Everytime i see one i think they just look so much more sinister then a 2g and i drive a 2g! lol BUt trading straight up for a turbo car? eehh i would tell him to fork over some money too on top of that becuase you have WAY more done to your car then his. Thats my .02 though. I think you`ll come back and say i want turbo again after this trade if you do end up doing it lol

 It's about time you came to your senses! Just cause you lose the turbo doesn't mean you'll stop racing. Put time and effort into your 1g and turn it into a showroom car if that what you want.

If you lived closer to me, I'd come over and SLAP THE SHIT OUTTA YOU FOR EVEN THINKING THAT

Glad to see you still boosted. Now everything you get in your car and look at the boost gauge.. You remember that and remember the sound of the turbo spooling
