Hey all,

I just fixed my boost leaks (TB seals and BOV flange) and now my Big 16g seems to spool much slower... It isn't spooling until about 4500 rpms...

I noticed this after I replaced the TB seals, But there was no loss of power at that point... Then I fixed the leak at the BOV, and the sound of the turbo changed and it seems to have lost some power now...

I don't know if these are related to my problem, or if something happens to be going bad at the same time I fixed the leaks?

I also think I hit fuel cut for the first time the other night after I put the new seals in...Felt as if an IC pipe had blown off along with a huge backfire...But then it drove normal...

So, my question again...Could fixing those leaks somehow cause my turbo to spool up slower, and what could have caused my loss of power?

Thanks,

CC

Just did another boost leak test, and I found a small leak at the BOV that is coming from the valve itself...I will be calling turboXS tomorrow for some more info...

But that small leak should not be hindering my performance that much... I just raced a basically stock 1G FWD and lost... There is a big loss in power...He ran a 14.6 at the track compared to my previous best of 13.89... So any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks,

CC
