Im a noob. My deck has a single RCA output for subwoofer, but my amp has 2 RCA inputs (L & R). How is it supposed to be connected? It is a mono amp so I do not know why there are 2 inputs.. I cannot seem to get the sub worki ng at all.
I believe he meant that the sub output was only 1 rca and the others (front/rear) are pairs. It would be a single output because the deck is internally translating it to a mono channel since subs aren't stereo. So, rather than sending it L/R rca use only the left (white/mono) rca and leave the other one to hang; making sure the white rca is hooked to that single sub out to the deck. The amp should have a mono switch on it. What's the name brand? Insignia possibly?
