i just wish that there was a revised handle not made of plastic like this one..... they revised other shit on the cars (2g block, lifters, etc)

I was actually going to find some little finger-sized door handles instead of shaving mine. I have a second goal in the 1/4 and want to be legal making it happen. Maybe I'll get all of the engine mods put in, go faster than the goal and then add some stuff to slow her down a bit :D

2 of my friends have shaved door handles and attent the track quite often. So far, over the past 2-3 years they haven't been questioned once by tech inspectors.

They both have also passed state inspection with no problems. Lucky maybe.

they said i could shave my door handles and leave my windows open... but that makes it an open cockpit and i would have to wear a retarded-flame (i mean flame retardant) suit

California so far is the only state I know of with those F'd up laws.... my bro's S10 blazer came from there and to circumvent the laws the owner had the door latch mod'd from the 'push down/pop up' style doors locks, and ran up just outside the window, only problem is to open the door requires 2 hands, because you have to press the latch down and pull the top of the door frame with the other.... just a suggestion for those that are affected by or worried by stupid laws.
