Congrats on getting into the eights.
Sorry to reverse time half a year, but I was wondering what valves you used.
I am looking into 1mm oversize because my 2.4 will not spin so high. I was thinking Manley? but I haven't ordered yet and figured I would ask a pro for is advice. Also how big of an intercooler does that car have on it.

This will be a basic setup, nothing crazy like it was before. Since the car is extremely light (2600lbs) 750whp will put the car into the low to mid 9s' at 150-154mph.

It will be using a 5 speed. Auto's are just too boring for me lol.

SO run down of it will be

built 2.0L
HTA3586r or PTE 6765 (most likely the HTA 3586r)
Built trans with evo 3/4 gear
No nitrous
E98
AEM
ect ect.

Back in 2007 when the car ran 9.20's at 154-155mph the car was very reliable. I went a full season without breaking a single drivetrain part. Soon as I passed 900whp is when things started going south and breaking on me left and right.

It's still up in the air about the rear end. I am thinking about a solid rear axle such as a ford 9" for a 8.8". Time and money will tell.

Basically the motor/turbo combo will be setup almost like my evo, the evo went 10.1 @143mph on the HTA3586 and a 2.3L stroker with the car being a fat bitch at 3350lbs with me in it. The evo right now is around 750whp, take 700-800lbs off the car and imagine what it could do:D So the talon is a great platform for that weight wise.
