Does anyone know what kind of turbo this is that sounds like that? The description says its a Holset but what model? Any information would be greatly appreciated. :dunno:

Thats next to impossible to answer. My GT4202 does'nt make much more noise than my GT-35 did. My uncle's Regal tube chassis car has a Turbonetics turbo that makes over 2,000hp. The turbo itself does'nt sound much different from the GT-42. Atleast not to the untrained naked ear.

Yeah, I bet it's your basic holset HX35 and he's running straight downpipe. IT didn't really seem to launch that hard, unless he was spinning really, really badly.

My TDO6H-20G is about half that loud but you can still hear it, sounds like a turbo diesel truck with a slightly muffled turbo whine.

Thanks anyhow. There is a 1G Close to my neighborhood that sounds identical to the one in the video so i was just curious. I'm running a FP3065, HKS SSQ BOV, 3" Turbo back exhaust, no cats and its quiet until boost, if i shift right, you can't hear turbo or BOV and would think its N/A
