Turbo TC vs evo. out come question...

who would win turbo scion with unknown specs and im guessing what seemed to be a BPU evo...witnessed the run tonight but i was pulled to the side so i can c them fly by.. and from my view the scion was next to the evo.. but top end wise im not sure.. so im askn for sum commentary/insight on who you think would have better top end... :confused:

well considering we have no idea what turbo or setup the scion is running its really hard to tell. a bpu evo will run 13.0 or better. scions arent that quick from the factory and with a turbo kit i dont think it would be that fast unless hes running a really big turbo.

if you looked at this car.. you wouldnt know it was turbo... the appearance of the car is stock...looking...you would be fooled.. car isnt flashy.. fmic isnt showing or exposed liek most ppl do.. its sleeper status...that car made me think hard... cuz it was moving lol

A guy I know has a TC and has the factory turbo setup and my dad's Chevy 3500 with a service body beat the fuck out of the TC. so you tell me if they are fast.

I'm actually impressed with the numbers that the turbo tc’s are putting out. I recently picked up the May 2006 turbo magazine and it had a comparison between the supercharged and turbo tc. The supercharged tc put out 200hp and 180lb ft of torque to the wheels, but the turbo tc on 7lbs of boost put out 244hp and 262lb ft of torque. Before you start bashing these numbers remember these are actual hp numbers on the dyno which means that this tc was making around 300hp @ the crank on 7lbs of boost.
