how come my valve cover says mitsubishi on the top all others i've seen said 16 valve except for the jdm engines it doesnt look like the valve cover has been replaced
Yes they DO say mitsubishi, but only the eclipse motors had them. (I have a GSX motor and a TSI motor) The T/L say 16v dohc.Brandon92DSM said:4G63 DSMs have the grey cover with red letters. (90-99) they do not say "mitsubishi" in the upper left hand corner.

Probably an EVO 3 motor...MaNGiNa24 said:when i bought my talon it had an engine swap done to it, now it says mitsubishi on the valve cover, but the old engine that was included with the car's vavle cover lettering is in grey or silver. the intake manifold also says eci in big letters then multi in smaller or vice versa.
