Lastnight I had my hood popped and had the engine running and noticed a strong airy hiss coming from the engine bay. I soon found it comign from my type-s. I wiggled the line going from the top bov nippe to the IM and nothing and then my finger accidently hit the bottom nipple and it was sucking air in like crazy, whats going on? I don't know if its hurting my car or helping my car?

Does the hose have a leak or the nipple itself.

It's the bottom nipple on the bov not the top nippe that has the hose that goes to the IM, I don't have a hose T'ed off on the bottom, its just open...

Sounds like the rubber diaphragm inside the bov is leaking. Take the top off the bov and inspect the rubber diaphragm for cracks or pin holes. When the diaphragm goes bad you can feel engine vacuum from the lower nipple at idle.

Yeah definitely the diaphragm, I had the same problem with my first type-s. I just went ahead and bought an RS, which I recommend highly.
