I have decided to order a 3" o2 housing for my car from Forced Performance. Is there any manufactures that makes a 3" downpipe that is 3" all the way through. I was going to order an Apexi but its 2.5" to 3".

Any suggestions.

Thanks

PM the vendors here on Talk. I know someone had them for like 150-165 shipped. There was a sale a while ago.

Buschur can. I almost went with that set up and he told me they could do it.

You could always just buy a 3inch flange and have an exhaust shop make you one. I'm sure thats what I will do. So which 3inch o2 housing are you getting? It must be custom because if I recall they only sell it in a 2.5".

Isn't the only 3" o2 housing they make the one for the FP turbine housing? Which has a V-band outlet? it's going to be a custom jobbie one way or the other.

Its goofy they don't make downpipes to match that o2 housing.

I say just run a 2.5. You're not trying to set HP records with this car, it's much more then that. There's plenty of people making 500+ hp on 2.5" o2 housings. I think it's time to go 3" when you get into 3" v-band outlet turbos.

Let us know what you find as I am also planning on getting a FP turbo with the 3" O2 housing. I also found it strange that they sell an O2, but no matching downpipe.

Agree.. The short distance that it is 2.5 inch isn't hurting you.. I made over 500hp on a 2.5 inch o2 housing.

At a certain power level, the 2.5" IS hurting you. sure, you made over 500whp, but there are alot of people making alot more than that, and they will want to go with 3" straight through, and probably a 4" exhaust.
Your right, but if you follow E-Miller's build thread, you will understand a bit better the direction he is going with the car.
