JVC. Always used JVC. I like them, they're cheap and do everything I want them to. But I've always wanted to buy a nice Alpine, just can't get myself to spend the dough...
Pioneer Premier DEH-P780MP...definitely not a bad model. It connects to I-pods, plays mp3's and wma's, and had 3 5 volt pre outs. You can even change the video's and what not. It also has a cool rpm feature that basically turns itself into a tach. The highest model just adds bluetooth for your phone...but I didn't want to pay the extra $100-$150 for it.
I've got a Pio in there now, can't remember the model. I've had a different Pio in my Mustang for about 8 years, I can't believe it still works...will never buy another HU brand. I've had a few cheap JVCs in a few cars, and will never buy one of them again - they've broken on me 1 month after the warranty ran out every time...
Kenwood Kdc Mp728, This Headunit is Fucking awesome it has everything that you could want in a Radio. G-analizer, Mp3, Sirius satelite ready, Hd ready, Full color motion display and more.
I've got a Clarion headunit. CD/Mp3 player . I cant remeber what I paid, it was somewhere around $350 for it new. I have had it around 2 years, still doesnt skip, works like a charm. Best headunit I have ever had. Had nearly every kind, from Alpine to Pioneer
LOL well for those that have the stock ones...when i pulled my stock unit out...it was fuggin heavy!! lol damn thing probably weighed like 20 lbs not kiddin, maybe more. Mine was the cd player/cassette combo, the "2-din" size, so maybe that's why it weighed so much.
plays cd/cd-r/mp3/wma/aac (non-protected aac files)...sirius ready, as well as HD radio ready. Motorized faceplate with different motion things. G-force analyzer, has a remote (like it's needed in our cars), has 2-zone setting for radio, where you can just push a button on the remote and it will silence the rear speakers and put everything up front. It has full controls for everything. I love it.
Eclipse 8053 balanced out head unit, its a dead head.
8volt out puts...or
if you have the balanced out unit
it will put 16volts to your amps for very clean signal.
Can't wait to get my car fixed so I can put it in.
