Why is it that every time I get a TT Supra to race, they speak of HUGE, 500+ horsepower numbers beforehand, then as soon as my measley little 12.0, 400 hp stang sucks out his headlights, they always say something about having a stock bottom end? Sorry this isn't a DSM story, this time, but I was hoping that the most knowledgable of the importers (DSMers), would have further knowledge of this craziness than my Mustanger buddies. By the way, this latest joker knew every detail about how well his car performed on a chassis dyno, but had never run it at a track! What a ***!

That's because it's the best excuse they can find? Know something...use it as an excuse. Maybe they have a list somewhere with the most suitable excuses for "Loosing to a seemingly crap car after you've made a fool out of yourself boasting."

You can never know tho. Maybe it's something all of them want, but can't get. And they know that if they exchanged the stock they would have much more power.

Because the voices in your head are telling you to do so...
Because it is the best car around...
Because you will never regret it...
Because I LIKE the Talon more then the Supra...

Questions? :)

There's nothing wrong with a Supra, except the price and the owners...

About the owners, that's just another generalization comment that isn't neccessary. Oh Mustang-owners this, Honda-drivers that, blah blah blah. Every car line has morons representing it.

IMO a Supra is a great ride, quick out of the box, sweet ass looks, and above all it's a fairly rare ride, in that you don't see a ton of them on the roads like Mustangs, Vettes, etc.

Yeah, I'll give you that... But the guys on Supraforums.com make you think otherwise...

I think that there is a good reason there's not many of them on road, it's pretty hard to sell an overpriced sports car without the porsche name on it!

In the past there have been posts by the Admin and the Moderators that posting broad statements about a group or group of owners will not be allowed on this board. It only invites other groups to retaliate for them and the board turns into a flame war rather then anything constructive. If you wish you can email the Admin later to discuss this with him. Until then the thread is locked.
