Okay check this out, I have driven my car for 6 months no problem. I park it in my garage this morning right after school let out, and I take a nap. I come out to it around 1pm and the thing won't start. I stick the key in press the clutch and turn and absolutely nothing, no turn over, not even the slightest sound. What is up with my car? Is it a dead battery? Help me out here, this kinda worries me since its the first real problem I have had with her.

Hmm...nothing at all? Try putting a DVM over the battery and see if you are getting any voltage. A battery typically doesn't die THAT suddenly. Also check if you've blown any of the main fuses. Do any of the dash lights come on? You might also want to check your battery connections to make sure nothing came loose etc. Good luck.

He pritty much coverd most of it. After you have done all that and found it's good, or found it's bad and made it good, if the car still won't do anything, I would say see if you have a bad starter or starter salinod. If the starter and salinod are good that it's wire, switch or something else. Dose it make any noises or any thing when you try to start it? Has it done anything funny/screwed up while starting? (like kept kranking after you let off) Did it make any funny/abnormal noises on the way home?

or...

Last night someone stole the battery out of my friends truck. He got off work, it wouldnt start, the fuses looked okay, popped the hood, and there was a big, empty spot where his battery used to be!

Okay check this out,

I just hooked up a trickle charger to it for about 3 hours and came back to see if there was any difference. I knew it was weird for it to die that fast but my dad wasn't home and he has the DVM. When I checked it nothing happened. Under the hood I heard an almost time bomb ticking sound, turns out it was comin from the headlamp and taillamp fuses. I got the DVM from my dad since he was home then and checked it. The battery was flat almost dead. Checked the battery some more and noticed there was a dead cell. The ticking apparently from wat I am thinking were the relays going off due to the low energy. Im picking another battery up in a bit and seeing if that does the trick. God I hope so I can't stand not having her working.

Yesterday my car just suddenly wouldn't start either. I parked it, came back out and the car wouldn't start. It would make a click sound when i turned the key. It ended up being the alternator and I already got it fixed.
