Sigh, some people still cease to amaze me...
Coming up Performance Mods (IN NEXT 4 YEARS)
Aem racing cam gear <- Does nothing for performance
Forged pistions <-Only will really do anything if you're boosting.
&rings <-Why?
Reground camshaft <-Okay, that'll help...a little.
3 degree valve job <-Thought it was in angles?
High perfomance lifters(& Push Rods) <-LOL! Pushrods eh? How about a timing chain too? Or maybe an aftermarket intake manifold?
Port and Polished heads <-Could've sworn the only 4 cylinder out there with two heads was an old Saab. Guess not.
AEM intake manifold <-Oh, see I didn't realize they made intake manifolds for us. Thanks for clearing that right up.
Blue Print the block
Throtle body spacer <-Um, there goes some torque. Pointless.
Apex AFC Air&Fuel Ratio controler <-That'll actually help.
255lb Fuel Injectors <-But not with those big injectors. That's a lot of fuel for those! Damn.
High performance fuel presser regulator <-Why?
MSD 6A ignition <-Okay, this I could see.
light wieght fly wheel <-Sure, if you're autocrossing it only. No gain in HP.
Stage 3 Racing clutch & Presser Plate <-Cool cool. But not HP.
Brembo Cross drilled and slotted Rotors <-Also no gain in HP.
Front and back strut bars <-Good for handling, no gain.
Tein F:1.6, R:1.8 in lowering kit <-Handling, no gain.
Fluidyne racing aluminum Radiator <-Why?
=200+HP <-Maybe 120-130 horsepower.
Not to get on this kid's case or anything, but really. Shouldn't his dad or brother have said something on the line of "You won't actually get that much horsepower from such normal modifications"?
I'm not trying to be a jerk to the kid, not that he's reading I don't think, and I understand that at that age of 14 (assumption) a kid really doesn't know much of anything about cars. I blame the brother and dad for not correctly teaching. :dunno:
