well i dont know what might be the problem.but i do know when i had my cold air intake pipe on it it did the same thing. but then i took off the cold air intake pipe and installed the stock pipe, and then the problem went away.then i bought the greedy bov type s with the flange adaptor for the stock intercooler pipe for the 2g eclipse, and when i was done installing that bov when i took it for a spin it did the same thing ,first i tried to adjust it hard, then i adujst it to soft , and then in between and it still does the jerking. pease im concern help me please !!

So, you installed a intake pipe and the problem started. You then replaced it with the stock piece and the problem went away. At this point you bought a Type-S and installed that, the problem came back. So what is on your car right now?

Oh, and if you would combine all of your thoughts into an understandable paragraph including punctuation before posting it would help.

it cost like 40 bucks,is that what you were refering to?
Just for some future info, the "ebay knock-offs" are utter garbage. Save and by a REAL Greddy Type-S BOV.

Ebay's only good for little things non-performance-wise, unless it is a used/new part that IS real.

For example; headlights, bulbs, clusters, mufflers, etc...are okay to buy from there.

But stuff like turbo's, BOV's and more "technical items arn't such great purchases on ebay since 99% of them are knock-off's.

For an example; My buddy bought a AFPR for his car. And well the regulator "pooped-out" on him and caused his car to run so lean that it ruined his motor.

you just gotta be carefull what you buy off of ebay...

In my opinion, ut all of your stuff that you repalced abck on and see if your problem presist...

is the intake u have the one that looks like the injen intake

did you recirculate the blow off valve?

do u have anyway possible post a picof the intake?

umm...your best bet is to try le' ol' cause n effect method. If it works with the stock stuff on, but not the new stuff. Then there must be a problem w/ one or the other of the "new" things.

Try this...

Is there still a problem with the new bov on and the stock intake on?

If so, the new intake is the problem.

Does the problem still show when you have the stock bov on and the new intake on?

If so, the new bov is the problem.

Also...just a check...are you putting the 2G mas in the new intake when you put the intake on?

At the risk of sounding stupid, you have U/LICP, right? Because, that BOV wont just bolt right up to your stock intake...Or, does it bolt up to the CAI...I don't think so...Hmmm, I dunno, lol, now my head hurts, great, THANKS!

ummm, check your wires, and make sure your MAF is plugged back in. If not, it will bog down like no other. Good luck.

What about stock intake pipe and stock bov?

Link to the damn item on ebay already. You don't need a picture of it to link to the auction.

It is obvious that it is an ebay knock off. No real DSM company is going to sell you an intake and call it a JDM CAI. Nothing JDM or cold about it.

Go to www.vfaq.com and make youself a boost leak tester.
I am betting that the pos bov is leaking no matter what your setting introducing a giant boost leak.
