Well, it isn't very custom besides the black panels I swapped in and the AFC install but it is a start for your thread.

People typically mount their gauges like that so a quick glance will let them know that everything is OK. They orient the gauges so that a normal value will show as a vertical needle. Then as long as the needles are all vertical there is nothing to worry about.
