Well as most know it's off season and it's time to rebuild for next season for 2008. My car is under the knife right now and is going through ALOT of changes that I have been wanting to do for along time now. Right now the car is pretty much a flinstone car with nothing in it. I am tearing every last bit out of the car and rebuilding it from ground up and loosing a TON of weight in the process.
So as the car sits right now, this is what it looks like, this is only the begining of the 2008 build, doesn't look like much since it's pretty much a tin can at this point, but once all done and said, it will turn out very very nice. So this is what I have beeing doing on my free time at 2am at night. Once I get everything out of the inside of the car I am going to redo some of the front half of the cage, and have the entire inside of the car painted black to match the outside of the car.
Don't mind the parachute, been too lazy to re-pack it after my last pass in bakersfield last month.
And for all of you that wondered what happen to my car in bakersfield CA at the BOTI world finals, well check out the nice plumbers crack down #2 cylinder. I found the limits of my block without hard blocking it. So my next block with be filled with block fill to strengthen the cylinder walls, we ran this motor all season without pulling it out nor pulling the head off, it did great for us considering I have over 40 low 9sec passes this year with 4 pro event wins out of 6 events. So 44lbs of boost and 100shot of nitrous and this is what happened.
I will post pictures as the progress goes on this off season, should be very interesting needless to say the least.
