Well its working, haha. I really want a GSX now but I just don't see it happening. I mean IF I can save up the $3k and get enough from selling my car to get a GSX, I would. I just am mainly worried about the insurance rate and how much that will go up. I have a clean record, no tickets and no accidents, but I'm 20 and they hate that.

Bodykit, Wing, Underglow get rid of it. The car will look a lot nice and a lot cleaner without all that useless garbage weighing it down. If you plan on racing the car, lose the system in the back, makes your car into a rattle can of shit in no time with too much bass, being as the car is non turbo lose the extra weight as well as your car is only being made slower and guzzling more gas because of it.

Lowering the car? Bare minimum to go is Eibach Pro Kit. Good deal lower, wont risk popping axles, isnt too low to make the car undrivable and you can easily get the car onto a trailer or flatbed tow truck with the assistance of a couple 2x4's.

You have two choices when it comes to the Hood. Paint it matching color of the car or get it cleaned up and clear coated again to bring back the shine.

Fuck the 18 or 19 inch rims, You aint Pisa and you are not rockin a Impalla. Nothing above 17 inches is needed, leave the dubs for the brothers, dont chrome the shit out of the rims either, it will look like crap.

Aftermarket parts, headers, exhaust etc really dont give you a good bang for your buck on a Non turbo. Spend that extra money you save by not buying useless crap for the N/T and buy yourself something quick and fun for weekends, save the N/T for its intended purpose, getting you from home to work, work to home.

I just see doing all that on a NT as pointless, its like doing all that work to a Geo Metro, just because you can doesnt mean you should.

Well I'm not into racing but there are some stupid people around town with fartcan honda's that think they are cool and my RS is pretty quick. I was on the way home from work the other night and an Integra kept trying to show off. We were stopped at like 2 red lights on the same road. At the third light I said screw it, and I pulled away from him quick. I don't know what he had under the hood but I'm not going to go around picking fights with Camaro's and STi's and Vette's. Just a little fun every now and then. I would like a GSX or GS-T but I'm just working with what I have.

I used to think my integra was quick, when I bought my GSX I was a changed man, I relized how slow it really was, 120ish HP at the crank is crap and thats what your stock honda has, between 90-100hp to the wheels which is nothing, the same same you have. 17 second cars.

Save your money for something else, I am serious, its like trying to make a geo metro quick, well not really, its easier to make a metro quick because it weighs less than half the weight of your car, in fact, power to weight ratio is much nicer.

I do agree with the guy about the bodykit, wing and underglow. I don't thnk they would increase the value at all. Seeing as they usally get broke anyways, well idk abut the win, but the ther stuff does. Then again, mabe you ca find some 16y/o kid wanting a ast ride and his parents will gt it for him lol.
 
^Yea I could see one of my dumbass friends be like, it's got neon's!!!! lol. But my .02 is keep the car. and fix it up like EE sayed. You can get really good gas mileage with a 420A, to help with the rising gas prices. I get 30 mpg. And wait to buy a GSX later on the road.

Original poster...why are you dumping all that money into a 100hp car?After its all said and done, your still gonna be stuck with a slow, n/a riced out car that will be even older and wroth even less.I say, throw some stock bumpers on it and drive it while you save up money.Then sell it and use your savings (the money you would have dumped into it) and th emoney from the car, to buy something you will be happier with in the long run.The fact is, your gonna put all this time and money into it and eventually your gonna get sick of being mocked by the dsm community:D

Well why don't you NOT bash Big3rn and read that we've already come up with the conclusion you just said. I can't just slap somestock bumpers on it because they'll have to get painted to match the car because its not a factory color. The moron who owned it before me also riveted the side skirts to the fender and rear quarter panel so all that body work would have to be done.

I only bash people when they post stupid, misinformed posts...like telling you to "do the gsx swap"...:rolleyes:Dont ask opinions on a perfromance oriented car forum about your riced out car and get annoyed when people rag on you for it.

Your best bet is to try to sell it as it sits or save money and just buy a turbo model and then drive the NT to work and back or part it out? Not too many options with a custom color and rivets in the car.

Wish I could give better options bro.
