Hey everybody, I couldn't find any reviews on the site or installation instructions on this so I thought I would just start a new thread...Anyways my girlfriend just bought me an Ebay catback exhaust and I just took a look at the link she sent me and it looks pretty cheap. But my main concern is, will it bolt on correctly? I told her that I really wanted an exhaust for my car, which is a 95 Eclipse GS, so she decided to buy me this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150365431185&viewitem=&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2&category=33630

Is it just me or do the angles of this seem kinda off? :dunno: She just got the part in today and i dont want to tell her "It wont fit so send it back". So can anybody help me with this? Thanks a lot in advance.

Its cheap, it will rust or break in no time, chances are, it wont bolt up correctly either.

Cheap isnt quality and quality isnt cheap.

I had an eBay exhaust on my RS when I sold it and it all looked similar to that. Fit right in without a problem, but the only thing that bothered me about it was it sounded too ricey and tinny, if that makes sense.

Edit:
^^ That is also true. Mine started to rust within 5-6 months of having it installed.

Ya I know exactly what you mean about the ricey/tinny sound. And I know that this isnt the best quality lol but do you think I'll have to do some bending or maybe even hammering?
Wont know until you try to mount it up. I had a friend who bought one of those crappy Tsudo exhausts and he had to cut the flange off and have it welded back on in the right position to have it mate up correctly.

Think about it its a $105.00. Maybe $20 worth of paper thin steel, definitely doubt its stainless and we already know by the price its far from 'high quality' with a cheap muffler. It was marked up so the seller can make a profit and included in this $105.00 price is the free shipping which likely runs him in the $25-$40 range since its a over sized package so dont expect much.

Haha alright I guess I'll tell my gf to try and send it back and use the money to get herself a purse or something lol
Its going to cost you at least half the price of the item to ship it back, you are better off just learning from your mistake and buy stuff from vendors of this forum instead of trying to 'save' some money on Ebay for sub-par products, usually you end up spending the money the second time around doing it right and spending more money than you should have.

One problem with eBay sellers is you cannot just send something back. That seller states they will not accept a return unless the part is defective. That means you are stuck with what your gf bought ya.

* In order for Kazespeed to offer our customers the lowest prices on thousands of items, all auction sales are considered final unless "defective". Please inspect your order upon receipt. No returns will be accepted for any reason after 5 days of delivery. Customers are responsible to pay for their shipping to us.

vinsanity speaks the truth, so hopefully it's been within 5 days. Just say the bends don't fit the car properly as advertised haha.

You'd still be on the hook for return shipping. I'd just throw it on until I could get a real exhaust.

My megan exhaust lined up just fine for me. What problems did you run into?
Too many for paying over $600 for a full turbo back exhaust.
Hangers didn't line up, had to fight to get it to line up with my O2 housing, couldn't run the 3" coupler because the flanges were off.

I have to spend another $100 at least to make it work correctly.

I actually ended up doing that to mine after it started rusting. Sanded down all the rust and hit it with the high temp flat black. As far as I know it held up well for awhile, but I sold the car so not my issue anymore right? haha
