Got a few more things done lately...

Removed the BC 272s in favor of HKS 272s. Fabbed up the JMF coil pack relocation bracket to work with the Cyclone intake mani. Also worked in the alternation relocation kit in there as well. Got the -6an fuel line finished up. Tank to filter to fuel rail. Installed the motor and tranny, without issues. Got the axles and front suspension/brakes on as well. Other than that Ive been working on fitment on alot of stuff. FMIC, exhaust, WG dump, wiring, etc.

Where did you get that battery box and what did you use as a hold down bracket? That is exactly what I've been trying to find.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The battery box is a cheapo setup and all the bracketing/hold down stuff was fabbed up with some of Lowes finest materials, lol. Kinda hard to explain, but Ill check later to see if I have better pics of the building process.

I hope to run in the 35psi range with the HX-40. Helping me get there will be 1150 injectors and a Snow Performance water/meth kit.

Nice work so far, I wish I saw more progress in my build ha ha I an stuck in a run with no motivation... or money. I love the color of the car! Holsets are the king shit these days for a street track car! What are your goals in terms of whp, 1/4, and trap speeds? What are you running for fuel management?

The color combo of the car was a major factor in me buying it. That, and being a 2Gb Talon. Im running ECUlink v3. Im very familiar with DSMlink as I had v2.5 in 3 vehicles, but with all the new additions it'll take some time to get used to. Honestly, on the goals... I dont even know, lol. The car will never see race gas, just 93oct + water/meth. Im sure with a good driver(which I am not) the car will run solid 10s in the 130+ range without much problem. Realistically Id like to drive to the track, run solid 11s, possibly hit 10s, then drive it home. whp, I have no idea.

Couple of small updates lately...

Ditched the factory big brake setup for a Baer setup. 13.1" rotors of pure STOP FTMFW...

My welder(Joe) finally stepped his game up and finished up the exhaust. Full 3" from the turbo with 4 v-band setups for easy on/off. Also got rid of the ST rear sway bar in favor of the RM unit...

You should remote mount your oil pressure sender and welded an elbow on the turbo. Other than that it looks good.
The oil sending unit is an OEM unit so Ill be keeping it where it is. For the elbow, Im still debating on that. I mocked everything up good with a silicone elbow on it but we'll see what happens down the road.

Those brakes look very familar :D Car is looking very sexy.
The brakes are bad ass, thanks again.

Hey Nick, your rotors are on backwards. :p
Thats the way they are stayin, lol.

Car came out awesome, Nick... When do you think, you'll be able to start it???
Well, Im probably gonna take a bit of a break from it because of life getting in the way right now. I do plan on starting it in the spring time though. I still have some things to figure out, welding to get done and wiring to do.

Im certainly not gonna argue over this issue, but Ive never seen an OEM sending unit break off. I didnt plan on using a remote location but is there a link of some sort you can point me to that can give me more info?

I broke one off two days after I got my car, but I was driving on a bumpy ass gravel road. Really wasn't the best idea of driving on a road with that many bumps, but I had to pick up a friend. I don't know how often it happens, but it happened to me, just so you know. And it was an autometer sending unit too.
