Grudge night sounds like fun! I missed the last event and so did Pat. We're both itching for some racing!

I'm going to run the 16G for a while and see what it can do. I'm hoping to get into the tens but you never know.

Meanwhile I'm going to make a tubular exhaust mani and O2 housing for the next big turbo setup. My next goal is to run 10.001 @ 134.99 :)

You haven't changed you sig yet!
Sig fixed :)

I like the goal you got there dave. Staying under the radar is always nice.

I can get the 6262 spooled up to 40psi by 6000rpms. I shift around 9200 in 1st gear and 8800-9k in 2nd going into 3rd. It stops making power around 8500rpms I would say.

I am currently going back to the 40R...luckily nobody every purchased it as the pte turbo took a dump on me.

I am NOT happy at all that this thing went out on me in less than 6 months. The compressor wheel contacted the housing, and the shaft play is pretty bad. We shall see what PTE can do for me, I will post up some facts after I get their diagnosis. For now, I will try to squeeze the 40R into the 9s. Its gonna be hard on the 2.0L I think, but we'll let the track times speak for themselves.

^Good luck man. Thats one of the first failures I've heard of with the new PTE billet stuff, kinda surprised actually.

When do u see 20psi by? what rpm do u start at?

Sorry for all the questions just wondering about a big setup down the road, and you usually just give the numbers that count. Track times.

I'm sure you will make the 40r work, I think with the juice it will be alright.

I could hit 20psi with the antilag at 4500rpms. The nitrous would turn off at 4000rpms, so this was without nitrous. On a 5 speed, the results would mirror that with the clutch in. I launch around 4500-4800rpms on the pte, if thats what you meant by what rpms do I start at?

Without the nitrous I can only get the ipt converter to stall up to 2400rpms or so. With the juice, I could push the stall up to 5k on the brakes and ebrake up.

I am all about track times. MPH gives you a real basic idea of how much power the car may be making. Compare that with a good E.T., and you have some idea of where the car is going. With the auto its pretty consistent, so I can compare things back to back easily. This is where the 40R comes in.

All I am doing is changing the 40R and O2 housing this week. I am going to try and hit the track this weekend for some testing, and hopefully some better results :dunno: If the 50 shot doesnt wake up the turbo at the line, the 75 will go on :tat:

I meant like if you do a 3rd gear roll from say 3k rpms, when would u see 20psi.

Thats kind of how I measure lag. Nice, can't wait to hear the results.
Ah ok, 4700rpms or so on the 2.0L.

Any thoughts on spraying through an entire run?
I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared. Last time I sprayed the whole pass she went KABOOM!

I'm respecting the nitrous and inching it up little by little. You are stirring the curiosity pot though....hmmmmm

:dunno:

That guy has had me wanting to spray since I first saw his setup. A bit different, but damn, that shit is ridiculous. If someone were to be able to successfully go with a big turbo and spray on top, I don't see why magic can't happen.
I am using the nitrous as an acid, not a base. The nitrous on my setup is just a small stepping stone to boost. That T25 setup is pretty much ALL nitrous. The dollar per HP ratio is not my ideal setup. Nitrous fills around here are 5.50/lb, maybe he has a hook up somewhere and a few spare bottles to take to the track???

Fast is fast though, not arguing that fact.

I realize that fact, I was just throwing that out an example of what can be done lol. Either way you seem to do just fine on your own, I'm just curious.

Ah N.O.S. our local companys enemy!
LMK if your local company is accepting sponsorship applications. I would gladly give up the current nitrous setup for something else. The fuel solenoid went out on me, luckily I caught it while testing. Maybe they got something better??

lol. Ted thx for the info. I was about to say if you are making the shootout it would push me over the top on people and cars taht i want to meet and I would make it happen.

Hmmm, that 6262 against a 2.4 would be sick. The only thing that would scare me would be spraying it the TQ would be insane.

You ready for the track dude? Its almost time. I'm pumped.
