While doing my tuck I found this connector, I was like hey that seems like to start my fuel pump so I push the button and I think its now stuck all the way in ... Now when I look at the diagram it seems like the black one is for the fuel pump and the brown for some ignition timing ? What is this for ?

Fuel pump check connector #A-58

Also the 2 others connector #A-59 and #A-60 are not connected to nothing ? But 2 wires goes into the blue connector and end into one tab ... Dont know what thats for since it dont seems to be connected to nothing.

Thanks

Thanks for your help guys ! :D I was actually looking for a thread like this one Anthony, right on time !

Since DSMLink can turn the fuel pump ON, I dont need these connector so here is the plan:

Black - Fuel pump test connector
Brown - Timing connector
Blue - Engine Speed Detection Connector

You can completely eliminate the black and brown plugs. You can also eliminate the blue plug, but MAKE SURE you retain both those wires - THEY MUST BE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. So basically, cut the plug off, then solder those two wires together.

Why solder them together? Why not just crimp opposing connectors on and slip them together. Then you could still use them as test leads!

Didn't I just have this conversation in your other thread?

Think man think, you're a DSMer! :)

EDIT: Alright you Cannuck, put the beer down and step away from the DSM!

Well I don't want to find the opposite connector because I will never use it anyway ... I'm actually working on my harness to delete everything I'll not use, so that's why I'll solder them and be done with it ...

I'm like 12 hours late so I didn't catch up your reply in my other thread. Yesterday I took the evening off to relax a bit and yes I was a bit drunk. ;)

Red1991TSI you're crazy, I like you but you're crazy ! :D
