I'm trying to get my reverse lights to light up in the back when I shift into reverse. So far I have the reverse sensor/switch in the tranny, I just can't find the pigtail or plug for it.

So if anybody has a picture of could be so kind to take one for me, of the plug, and tell me where the switch pigtail branches off from the main harness, that would help me out lots.

So far I found a pigtail that comes off the MAF harness, with just 2 wires, however the plug does not match the sensor/switch. Also, what color are the wires? The one I found has one red and one orange.

I'll check on my lunch. When playing with the starter that plug and harness is part of the starter harness.

I remember in the harness is the Black/red Hot to starter, thick Black/Yellow ground to starter bolt, Thin Black/Yellow ignition remote to starter solenoid, an the other 2 to back up lamp socket. There is not much down in there. It should be fairly easy to find. Are you positive it is the correct switch? All DSM FWD's have the same switch regardless of motor or year from when I replaced mine.

Yeah GTA you're right. For some reason I completely forgot about the BCS the turbo cars have, and I was mistaking the BCS pigtail which branches off the MAF harness as the reverse switch pigtail.

I ended up taking out my battery and found the cocksucker hiding. Plugged it in and both reverse lights work :)

If anybody ever comes across this problem, GTA is correct, it comes off the starter harness.

Glad I was able to help! I have a new one lol and my lights work every once in awhile.
